1. About us and these terms

Uttara Skin Care & Laser Center is a dermatology and aesthetic clinic at Union Nahar Square, 19 Sonargaon Janapath, Sector 13, Uttara, Dhaka, Bangladesh, 1230. These terms apply to uttaraskincare.com, uttaraskincarelaser.com and any related site we run. They sit alongside our Privacy Policy and the consent forms you sign at the clinic. If a signed clinical consent form conflicts with these terms about your treatment, the consent form prevails.

2. Medical disclaimer

• The information on our websites is general information about our services. It is not medical advice and does not replace a consultation with a qualified doctor.
• No doctor–patient relationship is created by browsing the websites, submitting a form or messaging us. It begins only when a doctor examines you at the clinic.
• Do not delay or ignore medical advice because of something you read on our websites.
• In an emergency, call 999 or go to the nearest hospital. Our online forms and WhatsApp are not monitored for emergencies.
• Descriptions of treatments, statistics and before-and-after images show what has been achieved for some patients. They are not a promise that you will get the same result.

3. Appointments

Advance payments. Some procedures may need an advance to reserve the slot. We will tell you the amount before you pay. See section 6.

4. Consultation, consent and your responsibilities

• Assessment first. Every treatment starts with an in-person consultation. The doctor decides whether a treatment is suitable for you and may decline or change it for your safety.
• Informed consent. Before any procedure (including laser, injectables, PRP, peels and body treatments), the doctor will explain the benefits, risks, alternatives and aftercare. You will be asked to sign a consent form. You may withdraw consent at any time before the procedure.
• Be accurate. Tell us about your medical history, allergies, medicines, previous treatments, pregnancy or breastfeeding, and anything else the doctor asks. Incomplete or untrue information can make treatment unsafe, and we are not responsible for harm caused by it.
• Follow aftercare.Follow the doctor's instructions, attend follow-up visits and tell us promptly about any unexpected reaction.
• Minors. Patients under 18 must attend with a parent or guardian, who must give consent.
• Respect. Please treat our staff and other patients with courtesy. We may end a visit or decline future bookings if someone is abusive or unsafe.

6. Fees, payment and refunds

• Fees. Fees for consultations, treatments and packages are quoted at the clinic after your consultation. Prices on the websites, if any, are guides and may change.
• Currency and taxes. All fees are in Bangladeshi taka (BDT) and include applicable taxes.
• Payment. Payment is due at the clinic before each session, by cash, debit or credit card, mobile banking (bKash or Nagad). We do not take payments through the websites.
• Packages. Multi-session packages are valid for 6 months from the first session. Unused sessions expire after that unless we agree otherwise in writing.
• Refunds. A completed treatment is not refundable. Unused package sessions may be refunded within 30 days of purchase, less any discount given and a 10% administrative charge; after that they are not refundable. An advance for a booking is refunded if you cancel at least 24 hours before your slot. If we cancel a booking, we refund any advance in full.
• Complaints about a treatment or charge. Tell us as soon as you can, in person, by phone or by the contact form. We will review it and reply within 7 working days.

7. Using the websites

You agree not to:

• submit false, misleading or someone else's details, or make bookings you do not intend to keep;
• use the websites unlawfully, or to harass, spam or defraud anyone;
• copy, scrape or harvest content or data by automated means without our written permission;
• try to interrupt, overload, probe or break into the websites or their security.

We may block access or cancel bookings that break these rules.

8. Intellectual property

The text, logos, photographs, graphics, videos and design on our websites belong to USCL or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. You may view and print pages for personal use. You may not copy, republish, sell or adapt them without our written permission. Patient images and testimonials are used only with consent and remain subject to the rights of the people in them.

9. Third-party links and services

Our websites link to or embed services we do not control, such as Google Maps, WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, X and YouTube. We are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices, and your use of them is under their own terms.

10. Availability and liability

• We aim to keep the websites accurate and available, but provide them "as is". We do not promise they will be uninterrupted, error-free or always current.
• To the extent the law allows, USCL is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the websites, or for loss caused by events outside our control.
• Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability that the law does not allow us to limit or exclude, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
• You agree to compensate us for loss we suffer because you broke these terms or gave us false information, as far as the law allows.

11. Privacy

We handle your personal information as described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

12. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh. We hope to resolve any concern directly first; please contact us using the details below. If we cannot, the courts of Dhaka have jurisdiction, unless the law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
